Concord is Law

A couple of days back I was hauling assets in my Orca, when one of my friends Stevo Patriot flew past by me and asked where I was going:

Stevo patriot > neo117 Shepard  where you taking that Orca? Ganking ahead, Niarja bad.
neo117 Shepard > Stevo patriot ouch… stopped just in time.
Stevo patriot > Lol, they tried to shoot my Vindicator. I survived wooh! Many others weren’t so lucky by the looks of it.
neo117 Shepard > you sure I can’t get through?
Stevo patriot > your call.
Stevo patriot > Blue ball of hell Concord on gate :p. I’ve got 325k ehp and survived… But I also made it back to gate.
neo117 Shepard > Crap… I got a 400 k ehp Orca, but I need to go through, not run back to the gate XD.
Stevo patriot > Lol go around? Or dock up and pod scout it, but you’ll see what I mean.

So I docked up my orca, got into a shuttle and scouted out Niarja and the following systems to check if  there was a Tornado gatecamp setup or anything like that. I didn’t see anybody on the gates, except for wrecks, corpses and tons of Concord SWAT Battleships…. What’s the lesson here, scout out Niarja first… And listen to the good advice your friends give you, as I did. It’s always better to be safe than fresh out of your ship, and into your pod.
